Wrist pain changes everything — from the way you type to how you pick up your morning coffee. We treat the full range of wrist conditions with one-on-one, evidence-based care.
The wrist is one of the most complex joints in the body — eight small bones, multiple ligaments, tendons, nerves, and cartilage structures all working together in a space smaller than your palm. When something goes wrong, even minor dysfunction can affect nearly every task you do with your hands. At Reach Beyond Therapy, wrist rehabilitation is a core specialty. Our clinic is led by Jade Wong, OTR/L, CHT — a Certified Hand Therapist with over 10 years of experience treating the full spectrum of wrist injuries and conditions.
Wrist therapy — sometimes referred to as wrist rehabilitation or wrist PT — is a specialized form of rehabilitation focused on restoring pain-free range of motion, strength, and function after a wrist injury, surgery, or chronic condition. Treatment is always individualized: what works for a TFCC tear is different from what a distal radius fracture needs, and what helps a competitive athlete is different from what helps a new parent. Every patient at RBT receives a thorough evaluation and a plan built around their specific injury, goals, and daily demands.
We treat a wide range of wrist injuries and conditions — both conservatively and post-operatively.
Ulnar-sided wrist pain with twisting, gripping, or weight-bearing. One of the most common wrist injuries we see.
Tendon inflammation at the base of the thumb and wrist. Common in new parents, cyclists, and repetitive grip workers.
Distal radius fractures, scaphoid fractures, and other wrist breaks — both conservative and post-surgical rehab.
Nerve compression at the wrist causing numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand. Conservative and post-op care.
Chronic overuse or acute tendon injury at the wrist. Graded loading and activity modification to restore full function.
Recovery after wrist surgery — from ORIF fixation to ligament repair — with a structured return-to-function protocol.
Every patient starts with a comprehensive evaluation — not just of the wrist, but of the whole upper extremity, because wrist dysfunction rarely exists in isolation. From there, treatment is built around what you specifically need to get back to: your job, your sport, your kids, your daily life.
Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy to restore joint mobility and reduce scar tissue, therapeutic exercise progressions tailored to your healing stage, custom wrist splinting and orthosis fabrication, edema and scar management, ergonomic and activity modification guidance, and coordination with your physician throughout the process.
Sessions are always one-on-one with Jade — never handed off to an aide. You get the full attention of a Certified Hand Therapist, every visit.
