Meet the Staff

Jade is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and occupational therapist with over a decade of experience in upper extremity rehabilitation. She earned her OT degree from Boston University in 2014 and has dedicated her career to helping patients regain function, confidence, and independence.

Originally from Honolulu, HI, Jade brings a deep personal understanding of the active lifestyle — she trains in climbing, triathlon, and functional fitness, and blends that clinical knowledge with personal insight to connect with athletes and active individuals on a deeper level.

Jade currently serves as Treasurer of the Hand Therapy Society of Greater Los Angeles and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. She is passionate about making specialized hand therapy accessible, understandable, and effective for every patient she sees.

Angela holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California (2025) and a background in Kinesiology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is currently pursuing her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.

Before entering occupational therapy, Angela spent seven years as a lifeguard and swim instructor, developing a passion for human movement, water safety, and helping others perform at their best. That foundation drives her approach to hand and upper extremity therapy today.

Angela specializes in evidence-based treatment for a wide range of hand and wrist conditions, with a focus on restoring meaningful function and supporting each patient's unique recovery goals.

Michana brings over 20 years of experience in the medical field and healthcare administration. She manages the day-to-day operations of Reach Beyond Therapy, ensuring every patient experiences a smooth, welcoming journey from first contact through the completion of care.

Her deep understanding of healthcare systems, combined with her warm and organized approach, means patients always feel supported — whether they're scheduling their first appointment or navigating insurance questions.

Outside of the clinic, Michana runs a sourdough micro-bakery and teaches community baking workshops. She lives with her husband, children, two dogs, and — yes — chickens.
