What does post-surgical hand rehab involve?
Every surgery has its own protocol — the timeline for when you can start moving, how much resistance is safe, what to protect and what to mobilize. We work closely with your surgeon's guidelines so we're pushing you as hard as is safe without risking the repair. Early on, that might mean gentle tendon gliding to prevent adhesions while a tendon heals. Later it means progressive strengthening and return to functional activity. We read your operative report, follow your protocol, and communicate with your surgeon as needed.
